SOUTH COURSE
3RD HOLE
PAR 4399 M
From the second shot position, it appears as if the sky meets the green—while standing on the green, you’ll feel as though you’re putting above the ocean itself. This scenic “sky hole” is flanked on the left by native Jeju trees—over 100-year-old Celtis sinensis trees and Hackberry (Nettle) trees growing among volcanic rocks. Around the teeing ground, clusters of parasitic ferns thrive naturally. For your tee shot, aim toward the far right edge of the left-side bunker—the carry distance over the bunker is about 200 yards. Since the trees on the left side of the fairway may affect your approach angle, it’s best to avoid overly aggressive play and opt for a more stable strategy.
