Hole 6 offers the most breathtaking view of Hallasan Mountain on the Blackstone course. From this vantage point, the mountain resembles a traditional Korean Satgat (conical hat worn by scholars), creating a powerful and harmonious scene where Hallasan Mountain and the surrounding oreum (parasitic cones) embrace the course. To strategize effectively, aim your shot toward the bunker on the left side of the green. To reduce the approach distance, hit a drive that carries over the bunker on the right side—this will open up a wider view of the green. The carry distance over the front bunker stretched along the right fairway is 200 yards. Once past that, you’ll face three additional bunkers angled to protect the green. Be sure to carefully measure your distance and consider the wind as you approach the pin. This green, designed in a classic style, is part of what makes Hole 6 the personal favorite of course designer Brian.
