NORTH COURSE
4TH HOLE
PAR 5515 M
This par-5 hole invites you to take a bold driver shot across the forest. Slightly doglegging to the right, the hole begins with a narrow view from the teeing ground but opens up to a refreshing vista from the second shot position, revealing both the fairway and green. Especially from the second shot point, the shelter and hazard in view create a dreamlike, storybook setting. On clear days, you may even catch a breathtaking reflection of Hallasan Mountain’s Baengnokdam Crater Lake in the water hazard—an unforgettable sight. A cart path running through the center of the fairway gives this hole a distinctive hourglass shape. Despite its peaceful appearance, the slope at the center of the green and the position of the pin can make this hole particularly demanding. It calls for a blend of daring shots and delicate control. After your tee shot, the first landing area opens up between two mounds that shape the hourglass fairway, giving you a broad view. From there, cautious play to the left and a thoughtful advance toward the green are essential. Manage your game carefully around the large hazard in front of the green and the bunker to the right of the third shot zone. Hole 4 offers fitting rewards for those willing to embrace its adventurous challenges.
